Annual Fund Drive

annual fund drive

Dear Friend,

Thanks to generous gifts from you, fourteen-year-old Crested Butte, Colorado local and singer-songwriter Linda Horne discovered her greatness at the Crested Butte Music Festival’s Frank Vignola Guitar Camp last summer. She was able to learn the complex, unique and enchanting style of gypsy jazz directly from Frank Vignola and his fellow musicians and refine her song craft even more. She loves to perform and shares her love of music and original compositions anywhere she can.

And Linda is not alone – your contributions have made it possible for many other children and young adults to explore music in beautiful Crested Butte. That’s right, your gifts showed children and young adults the importance of diverse, live music in our lives. Imagine what we can do together next summer when the Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Your continued support creates opportunities to expand our education programs and enrich the lives of young musicians. Your gift sustains the Festival’s live performances that are becoming a rarity in under-served rural mountain communities. You could help bring even more world-class artists to our beautiful mountain valley. Imagine the pride you would feel watching them perform, seeing the smiles in the audience, and inspiring the young performers of tomorrow.

Without your help, music and music education will continue to disappear. Future generations will not experience the magic of live performance and will not discover their own greatness and voices through music. This is why we so urgently need your continued support.

With very little time left in 2015, this is your last chance to give your year end, tax-deductible gift to Crested Butte Music Festival. This is the perfect time to give the life-changing gift of music and music education to the Gunnison Valley.

Here are examples of the impact of your generous gift:

$100.00 provides students access to select performances so they can discover world-class live music.

$500.00 provides quality instructors for the Swallow Hill Kids Music Camp.

$750.00 provides a season’s worth of sheet music for the Opera Children’s Chorus.

$100.00 / month provides student housing for young opera singers in the CBMF Opera Studio.

Don’t delay – add your name to the other music supporters who make the Crested Butte Music Festival happen today.

Your donation by December 31st will provide the critical support that our Festival needs to make our 20th season a success. The legacy of your gift will foster the future musicians of tomorrow, an enduring testament to your kindness.

Thank you for your generosity,
