AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM CBMF
As many of you may know, the White House is considering defunding the most important government programs that support and celebrate the arts in America: the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
For the last three years, the Crested Butte Music Festival has been an honored recipient of support from the NEA. With their help, CBMF has been able to provide free concerts of both gypsy jazz and opera, and have helped us instill in young people an appreciation for the arts through our acclaimed education programs. The NEA’s prestigious seal of approval has also brought the Festival greater visibility and opened fundraising doors with private institutions and donors.
