These experiences, however, do not come without a cost. The Music Festival needs your help to keep programs and performances accessible to audience members and participants, provide housing and travel for our artists from all over the country, and ensure the widely-recognized quality of the Festival.

This program is for inpiduals who support CBMF’s annual summer performances with gifts up to $9,999. This support brings some of the finest artists to Crested Butte; nurture our distinct educational programs that transform participants; and support the presentation of free lectures, public master classes and more.

Yes, the Festival is a Colorado non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, our tax identification number is 84-1374824. You can visit our Guidestar profile, located here, for more information.
As of May 2013, CBMF has approval from the State of Colorado as a Region 10 Enterprise Zone Project, a designation with favorable tax consequences for inpiduals who file a Colorado state income tax return. Cash donations of $50 or more earn a 25% tax credit, and in-kind donations valued at $100 or more earn a 12.5% tax credit. The taxpayer may take state tax credits of up to $100,000 per tax year. Any excess credit is valid for up to 5 years. For more information about the program, contact Erin Wright, Director of Development.

CBMF produces a variety of publications that present different opportunities depending on your level.
Print opportunities include:
- Listing as season supporter in printed materials such as quarterly newsletters, the Annual Report or Gala invitations
- Digital opportunities are available as a listing on the CBMF website.
- Verbal opportunities include shared or exclusive acknowledgment at a symphony or opera performance.
- Personalized opportunities include acknowledgment as series/performance/gala presenter. Staff can work with you to focus your impact and acknowledgment to fit your passion.
