Kids Go Free: Crested Butte Music Festival brings music to the (young) people

kids go free

Crested Butte Music Festival is the proud home of extraordinary artistry and extraordinary settings — and we’re keenly interested in sharing that magic with the next generation. To that end, we offer our Kids Go Free program at every mainstage event* throughout the festival season.

Kids Go Free is available for children aged 7-to-17, and getting involved couldn’t be easier! Music lovers who purchase an adult ticket to one of our mainstage events are automatically eligible to receive a free ticket for a child. We believe access to world-class musicians and instruments provides an exceptional cultural and educational experience for blossoming music connoisseurs and future artists.

This year’s Kids Go Free program includes some thrilling performances including:

  • Bonnie & the Clydes, 7/7
  • Verdi’s Falstaff, 7/19, 7/20, 7/21
  • The Wild Chamber Music Party, 7/22
  • The Good, the Bad, the Devine: Morricone’s Spaghetti Western Film Scores, 8/8

And that’s only a bit of what’s in store! Click here to see the full lineup of mainstage events and start planning your family’s CBMF experience.
