Join the CBMF community! Volunteers are welcome and training is always provided. Your contribution of time will help keep music alive for generations to come!

CBMF is currently recruiting volunteers for the upcoming summer season! CBMF relies on the energy, experience, and dedication of its volunteers to make this world-class festival a success. Join our community of dedicated volunteers who help make the Festival a success by growing and fostering a stronger community of support each year. Volunteer with Crested Butte Music Festival to make friends, make a difference, and earn admission to concerts in the process!

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Ushers: Take tickets, assist with seating requests, and answer general questions. Given the training involved, we urge ushers to commit to assisting at 4 concerts and one fundraiser per season.

Special Events: These events are really exciting and special. We need help with set-up, break-down, parking and bartending to name a few. Our fundraising events are the most important events of the summer, as they raise the majority of our income. We also need tech-savvy volunteers to help patrons at these fun, fast-paced events. This is a great opportunity to get to know the festival and performers, as well as see a different facet of CBMF.

Community Ambassadors: Get the word out! Our community ambassadors help advocate for the festival through talking with friends and community members about the festival, distributing flyers and posters, and helping write for local news sources.

Audience Greeters: Be the face of the Crested Butte Music Festival! Be the first point of contact for our audience members at events. These volunteers meet, greet and assist concertgoers as they arrive at performances. These volunteers will be available before, during and after events. These well-trained volunteers are the “go-to” people for questions about festival events, as well as about activities and the suggestions in the local area.

Event Assistant: Event assistants help before events with moving tables, chairs and getting the venue ready as well as after events. They may also help with parking and shuttle services. This is a great opportunity to see what is needed to make an event run and to be a part of our production team.

Office Work: Assist in front desk and administrative work. Help with mailings, database work, and data entry, as well as thank you notes. A great way to see behind-the-scenes work of a non-profit.
