At registration, a credit card is required to receive a bidder number. This number can be used by you to bid on items in the silent auction, the live auction, the paddle raiser and for Buy A Spot Parties. You may pay using a different method at checkout.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Items are sold “as is” and may not be exchanged nor money refunded once a purchase has occurred; items are not redeemable for cash. Please read carefully all specifications, limitations, blackout dates, expirations, availability criteria, or things (such as airfare, taxes and gratuities) that may not be included. Please call the donor of your items to make a reservation or other arrangements concerning your purchase as soon as possible.
Cash, Check, Visa, M/C, Discover and American Express are accepted. The Crested Butte Music Festival reserves the right to withhold delivery of items until verification of funds for checks or credit card approval had been established.
If an item is sold for more than its fair market value, the difference is deductible as a donation. Please consult your tax advisor for further inquiries.
Payment in full is requested immediately following the close of the auction. The purchaser will receive a receipt from the cashier and, following payment, will receive a winner’s packet or physical item. If you leave prior to the end of the event and are the winning bidder, your credit card will be charged and you will be notified to collect your items.
The bidder’s identification following a verbal bid and paddle raised constitutes a contract to purchase an item. Spotters will be stationed to assist the auctioneer. The auctioneer will acknowledge the highest bidder, and a CBMF representative will record the name and final bid of the winner of each item.
Should you have any question regarding the purchase of any auction item, please call the CBMF office at 970-300-3409.
