Details

Interns will have a paid stipend and housing will be provided if needed. Interns are responsible for travel to and from Crested Butte, Colorado. CBMF requires you to bring your own laptop and you must have a vehicle. Internships requires the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time, and the capability to lift and carry heavy objects. Please note that the internships require long hours; work hours vary significantly and include weekends and evenings.

Highlights of the CBMF Internship Program:

  • Professional Development: Interns Interns will participate in a wide variety of concerts, education programs, fundraising events, staff meetings, etc. to gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of the artistic and administrative activities of the Festival.
  • Diverse Projects: Interns work on all aspects of the Festival including donor events, education programs, and operational components. This gives each intern a better perspective as to which area they would like to pursue as a career.
  • Access to concerts: Interns are able to attend Music Festival performances.

Operations & Events Management Internships - 3 positions available

Duties and Responsibilities:

This intern will support the staff, overseeing the day-to-day development needs and special events of the festival.

 Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events including managing invitation lists, logistics, and other duties as assigned.
  • Attend all events, assisting with event execution including set-up, staffing reception table, event flow and break-down; other event duties as needed.
  • Assist with postering.
  • Greet and assist guests at the Box Office.
  • Provide front line customer service and problem solving to guests.
  • Conduct in person ticket sales.
  • Troubleshoot night of show issues.
  • Become knowledgeable of all seating charts.
  • Provide knowledge of upcoming events & upgrades available.
